French salads are one of the recipes which are liked by almost everyone around the world. The secret behind this is the use of fresh ingredients for preparing it. It is an important part of diet in France. Normally olive oil is used for dressing in French salads but it depends on your taste. You can also use groundnut or sunflower oil.

Ingredients: Carrots, salt, lemon juice, pepper, olive oil, and shallot.

Process

First peel the carrots and shred them. Take a bowl and put peeled and shred carrots into it. In a bowl mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pour this over the shred carrots. Add finely chopped shallot over it. Toss well till shallot and carrots are completely dressed. Before serving keep this in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve cold.

Take 2-3 cucumbers peel them and slice them. Place these slices in a bowl, add olive oil, lemon juice, crème fraiche, or Greek yogurt, salt, and pepper. Toss well. Keep in refrigerator for 10-20 minutes before serving.

Process

Process

First boil the potatoes and beans. Now peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Cut the spring onions and beans into small pieces. Take a bowl and add potatoes, spring onions, and beans. Now lay the salad in a serving plate by placing tuna on the top and in the centre of the salad. Decorate the salad using a hardboiled egg and tomato.

Ingredients: White and red potatoes, chicken stock, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, basil, and dil.

Process

Cook white and red potatoes in steam for 10-20 minutes. Peel them and cut into small pieces. Take a bowl, add potato pieces, chicken stock, and vinegar, and toss them well. Ingredients: Almonds, chicken pieces, mayonnaise, orange juice, salt, watercress pieces, celery pieces and pepper

Process

Grill the almond for few minutes. Cut watercress into small pieces. Now take a bowl and place watercress pieces. Add celery pieces over it. Mix mayonnaise and orange juice. Add chicken (cooked and cut into small pieces) pieces, almonds, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and toss well.
