Can somebody assist me with a healthy food recipe?


My husband is facing a health problem of high blood pressure and the doctor has suggested low fat and low cholesterol diet for him. I am a health conscious person myself, and I cook for my family keeping in mind the nutritional values of the recipes. Nonetheless, I can't be watchful on his eating habits once he is out at work, therefore, I need help from some expert regarding few healthy dish recipes which can be healthy and tasty for my food-lover husband? Thanks.

Brussels Sprouts with Green Peppers recipe

Here goes a very healthy food recipe that you both will relish to the core.

Ingredient:-

453 grams: - fresh Brussels sprouts, 1/2 cup: - celery,

1/2 cup:- green pepper chopped, 1/4 cup :- onion, chopped, 1/2 teaspoon :- salt,

1 teaspoon :-olive oil , 1/7teaspoon pepper.

Method:-

1- Place Brussels sprouts in asaucepan with 1 in of water.

2- Bring to a boil and reduceheat, cover and simmer for at least 6 minutes.

3- Mean while, in a large non-stick skillet, saute the green pepper, celery and onion in butter for 2 minutes.

4- Drain Brussels sprouts andadd to vegetable mixture and sprinkle with salt and pepper

6- Cook and stir for 3-6 minutes or until sproutsare tender, and serve.
