There are many sites which can help you in calculating calories in various foods like myfitnesspal, caloriecount, calorieking, myfoodresources etc. This will help you in preparing your daily diet plan in accordance to your exercise regime.
For females it is necessary to consume at least 1500 calories in a day. Yeah, it is necessary to keep track of food calories you are consuming while exercising as it will give you complete picture of how much calories you have to burn in a day to be fit and healthy. Also you have to make sure that whatever diet plan you are following is having ample amount of low cal recipes or not.
As I am also working out daily, I also try to consume recipes which are rich in healthy nutritional value. There are various low cal recipes which i have included in my daily diet plan like low calorie peanut butter cookies, banana muffins, veggie salad, hearty chicken chili, herbed chicken Parmesan, pumpkin pie, stuffed bell peppers etc.
Also try to consume food rich in dietary fiber, as this catalyses metabolism in body. This will not only help you in burning calories but also takes off the pressure of exercising more.
