Cleaning food is not so easy; not only for you but for many people. When it comes to cleaning food there are many areas to touch. If you are cleaning leafy vegetables you leave them in water for at least 10-15 minutes until all the dirt settles. Then wash at least twice in cold water. If it's too dirty wash until it's clean or do not buy such items. Then when you are washing tubers use a brush to scrap off the dirt. When you clean fruits, put them in water for some time and then wash and drain and dry them using a towel. Same treatment for all the skinned fruits which are edible. For fruits like banana and orange all you need to do is wash once as you are going to munch only the edible part and not the peel. If you have any difficulty in consuming fruits scrap a little using the scraper and then eat. By cleaning you are ensuring health and hygiene.
