What’s cooking idea for campfire meal?

I live in Arizona with my family. I have decided to go for trip with my college friends in the outskirts of the city. One of my friends is interested in campfire meal and fun. But I have no idea what to eat while we have only options of outdoor recipes. If you have the same situations, what you would say? What’s cooking idea for campfire meal? Please tell me the recipes which are easy to make and take less time in cooking.

Cooking over a hot campfire is one of those things in life that you cannot explain to someone who have never done it. Each and everyone knows of that toasted, melted, burned, dropped in ashes and the wiped off Marsha mallow treat are really loved by kids of all the ages. But even better is the smell of a bacon or a cobbler or a beans mixed with some smoke from burning an oak or a pine. You cannot bottle that particular smell. One of the cooking idea are cook on a stick. This is really the most common way of cooking at a campfires for kids. Stick some hotdog on a stick, give it to the kid, and then let him cook. Its a great way to warm up simple food like that, but it is also a useful way to cook an individual servings. Its advantage are that it is simple,no tools are required, easy to regulate some cooking by changing the position of food. Its disadvantage are only some foods can be cooked in this way, By using this way people tend to destroy environment collecting green sticks, often a lots of wasted food due to some dropping and burning. All those hot, pointed sticks and the flaming marshmallows can be dangerous.
