Your choice of food are very nice and it is good that you want to try out new recipes.
I will give you the recipe for making spring role. Spring rolls can be stuffed with the filling of your favourite type. But, if you want to enjoy a light but healthy food, then go for the following vegetarian filling in your spring roll.
Add 2 Tbsp oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat.
Once the oil is hot, add garlic, ginger and chilli.
Fry for about a minute after which add cabbage, mushrooms and peas.
While frying, add tomato sauce and soya sauce to the batter.
After that add salt to taste.
Stuff it in the wrapper and then decorate it with fresh coriander leaves and sliced carrots.
Once you master the art of making this role, there are various other stuffing you can try out like adding shrimps, chicken or fishes to the batter.
Spring roles have been given new flavours according to various cultures like the Vietnamese make the filling with vermicelli and mint. To add to the flavor, basil is also a preferred herb.
