Can you tell me about some effective high fiber food?

My kid is 7 years old and he is a complete foodie. However, the food he loves is mainly junk and he doesn't like fruits and vegetables at all. I don't know what to do, as I want to inculcate healthy food habits in him in his formative years. Could someone please tell me what are some effective high fiber food, which can be included in his diet? I would appreciate if someone is able to tell me about the servings of such food, which are high in fiber, for a 7 years old. Thanks

I will be happy to assist you regarding your query as even I have a six and a half year old daughter for whom I have devised a high fiber food table so that I can change it each day and still give her a surprise.

Some of the high fiber foods include Apples with skin, apricot, dried Apricots, banana, blueberries, dried figs and grapefruits , along with some grains, nuts and seeds like bran cereal, whole wheat bread, Brown rice which is dry, cashews, flax seeds, cooked Garbanzo beans. cooked kidney beans and cooked Lima beans, Pistachio nuts,Sunflower seeds and walnuts.

Some vegetables like Avocado, Beet greens, Green beans, Cole slaw , Tomato, cooked Bok choy, Broccoli, Cabbage, Peas and Spinach are also among some of the high fiber foods that you can mix and match and provide for your seven year old.

I am glad to answer your question.
