Can somebody help me with energy meal ideas?


I am an athlete and I love working out. I usually consume a lot of energy drinks to keep myself energetic all day long after strenuous workouts and I have been regular with energy drinks such as Rock Star and Red Bull. However, I don't want to be confined to certain energy drinks only, therefore, I would want to know about energy meal ideas, so that I decide some appropriate food items for myself? Can somebody please help?

It is very important to have a very healthy food in your daily dietbecause it will provide you sufficient amount of energy for the remaining day.There are many healthy eating recipes for lunch that you can try, they also have very good nutrtional value which could help you in shedding weight. Like you can have artichoke and ripe oil tuna salad, bbq chicken sandwich, chicken& fruit salad, crab salad stuffed pitas, egg salad, greek tofu salad, egg sandwich, pizza roll up, tuscan style tuna salad. I love to have BBQ chickensandwich. It is awesome in taste and also very easy to prepare.

Here is its recipe. It goes like this.

The ingredients required are half cup of cooked chicken,quarter cup of carrots, barbecue sauce, small sandwich bun, light ranchdressing, leaf of romaine lettuce.

Now combine chicken, carrots and barbecuesauce in a mixing bowl. Pour ranch dressing on the bun. Do the topping with thechicken mixture and lettuce. So this is how you can prepare bbq chicken sandwich. It contains 323 calories, fat content is 8 grams, total carbs is 37grams, protein content is 26 grams. So it is very healthy as well.
