Beans and Dry Fish to revive East-Indian Farmer
As the sun sets accross the ridge of the fields the Indian farmer returns home exhausted and hungry...oops! I have dived into a bit of poetry. Well, I will put it straight. I am going to tell you about foods that revives an Indian farmer after a tiring day.

A tiring day ends for a farmer in South-East India, with a bowlful of beans cooked with dry fish and a bowlful of rice-soaked in water. In my previous post I mentioned about the benefits of ric soaked in water, today I will try to complement it with a pottage of dried beans along with dry fish. The recipe of the filling, proteinaceous dish is as follows:
Ingredients:
Dry Fish (rinsed properly)
Dried Beans
Onions
Tomatoes
Turmeric Powder
Cumin Powder
Crushed Ginger
Salt
Method:
1. Fry onions and tomatoes together.
2. Add dried beans into it and fry for some more time.
3. Add dry fish, cumin, turmeric powder, salt and fry for some more time.
4. Add water into it and cook for some time.
The curry looks just like the above picture in case you wanted to have a clue about it.
