Beer claims to be nutritious with green tea

Followed by the organic beer is the latest beer with green tea benefits. No matter how ironical it seems the presence of antioxidants in alcohol can draw a large number of beer-drinking crowds. An allusion to the propagated health benefits of red wine is the new Zen beer brewed by BluCreek Brewing, brew manufacturer from Madison. The beer scheduled for a launch in the month of August retailing at $8 a six-pack in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Florida and Ohio, follows its predecessor ale brewed in the same brewery using ginseng and wild blueberries.

Reasonably priced this might be also used as a cooking beer or for casual drinking, but definitely depends on the alcohol concentration in this beer to prove its benefits to the consumers. However, with the presence of selenium, minerals and antioxidants it can be considered as a good source of nutrition to the skin. It is a good attempt by the Company to add functionality to beer, but the presence of alcohol makes it a dubious drink as far as nutrition is concerned.
