Crisp pears with gingersnaps
Enjoy pear and ginger crisp salad toppings with your loved ones on Valentine day. Often said way to someone's stomach is through delicious food recipes.

You could please your loved ones and enjoy the evening with appetizers, cuisines, ciders, salads and soups. You could also use seasonal fruits to prepare crisp toppings.
Now you need not scan all the cook books on your shelves to prepare a recipe for your dear ones. Just follow my recipe the ingredients are easy and simple to be remembered. All salad ingredients are available in your place or kitchen garden. You could buy them from near by grocery stores.

Pear crisp topping with gingersnaps
Ingredients
2 -15 ounces of fresh (canned) pear slices, (undrained)
2 teaspoons of lime juice
2 teaspoons of cornstarch
20 gingersnaps
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup of flour
1/2 teaspoon of maple flavor (flavoring)
1/2 cup of melted and cooled butter
Whipped or cinnamon ice-cream
Preparation
1. In a preheated oven (350 degree F, place lightly greased pan and mix pears, pear juice, lime juice and cornstarch.
2. Crush gingersnaps in a food processor.
3. To the mixture add powdered sugar and baking powder.
4. In the mean while pour melted butter in the food recipe.
5. Continue top process until mixture combines completely. Crumble it over pears and bake for 25- 30 minutes or until soapy and bubbly appearance.
6. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or use it as a topping for your salads.
