Six tips to make simple meals from Kitchen Garden

Fresh from the garden, vegetables, nuts, fruits can come handy in lighting-up a dinner fare, an elaborate lunchtime meal or a quick bowl. An article lists out an assortment of ingredients from the garden, which can toss-up and unique bowl of chicken salad. The bet here is that blackberries, nuts, rosemary dressing, tomatoes, herbs, peppers and other veggies can go a long way in adding a new element to old dishes. 1. Toss-up cherry tomatoes, olives, spinach, salt and pepper in a bowl of chicken.

2. Fresh cabbage can be added to sandwiches or tossed-up with meats and fish in salads and stews.

4. Fresh herbs from the garden can be used as a natural flavoring agent in stews, seasonings for low-cal foods and marinades.

5. Chipotle, jalapeno and chilies can perk-up salads, dips and chutneys.

6. Garlic is the most favored condiment from the garden and it goes in almost all dishes except desserts.
