As per Lars Larson, Trumer Berkeley Brewmaster:

We replicated the exacting standards for Trumer Pils alongside our Austrian counterparts; we worked hand-in-hand to brew the beer with the same ingredients and exact protocols. This gold medal validates our passion, hard work and commitment to reach this goal. It is indeed a dream come true.
