Can some expert tell me about the health benefits of whole food vitamins supplements?

Until recently I used to take some supplements for vitamins and minerals, but one of my colleagues has advised me to start taking whole food vitamins supplements, as it is anytime more beneficial and nutritional than vitamins and minerals supplements taken together. Now before switching on to whole food vitamins supplements I want to know from some health expert about its health benefits over vitamins and minerals supplements. I would be really thankful for an early and appropriate solution to my query!

Vitamin A is essential vitamin required for the vision, boosting immune function and great skin health. But you must also know that over consumption of vitamin A can lead to jaundice, loss of appetite, vomiting, and even hair loss.

The recommended amount of vitamin a is 5000 international units. Some of the foods that are high in vitamin A are liver, sweet potatoes, carrots and dark leafy greens. Sweets potatoes are rich in vitamin a there are about 100 gms of vitamin a in a cup of mashed potatoes. Carrots also provide vitamin a. You can eat them raw or you can boil it or eat it. Or you can make crisp, delicious and fresh salad with the help of green leafy greens which are also high in calcium as well.
