Will you please explain to me about the procedures from the scratch? I am about to finish my school and want your expert guidance on the procedure so that I can decide how to follow it to make it my career. Looking forward to your responses. You can become a food supplier. Just follow the below given suggestions:

a) Apply for the license (which is including license fee and application form), and pay for any plan review fee which can be very much required by the county in which the facility is to be located.

b) Facility Plan - You have to obtain approval of the plans and then specifications prior to construction, including layout plans, water source, sewage disposal, and some other structural information.

c) Process Plan you have to obtain approval of product ingredients, processing information, packaging, storage, distribution, labeling etc., from the FCSS. FDA standards are used for the review.

d) You have to pass a preliminary inspection by the local health authority prior to commencing operations of a food processing, packaging, sales or distribution.
