What are the US food tips for hypoglycemia vegetarian?

I am a vegetarian and I am suffering from hypoglycemia. I only prefer to eat sea food and no other meat. So I want to know some US food tips for someone with hypoglycemia who is vegetarian. I would really appreciate these tips. The energy snack tips are also welcome! Sometimes I really get low on energy and would love to feel healthy.

Hello, I completely understand your concern my friend. A friend of mine is suffering from hypoglycemia. I would love to suggest you some vegetarian foods that can be really beneficial for you. In a hypoglycemia patient, the body falls short of the necessary sugar levels in the blood. The one who is suffering from this disease is very much prone to diabetes. My friend, there are a variety of options that you can add in your diet to stay healthy. The most recommended foods are those which can help to bring down the sugar levels. Make sure that you consume a sufficient amount of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and fiber. You should include sprouts, whole grains, green leafy vegetables and apple as these are rich in carbohydrates. Protein rich foods such as nuts, seeds, low fat dairy products and cereals should also be included. A healthy amount of fat should also be included, for example grains, olive oil, soy bean and almonds. Most importantly you should take a fiber rich diet which includes consumption of fruits, salads, whole grains, nuts and seeds. A slight change in your eating habits can give you long term benefits and will surely help you stay fit for long. Stay healthy. Take care.
