Hi I would like to tell you that the smoked sausage recipe and the white sauce recipe are two different things. They are both different items. Smoked sausage is just grilled sausages. Whit sauce is something entirely different, sure you can add smoked sausage pieces to the white sauce.
Hawaiian Smoked Sausage Recipe
Preparation time 5 min
Cooking time 10 min
For 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients:
canola oil 3 tablespoons
one medium green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
one medium yellow onion, cut in half vertically and then slice into rings 1 / 4 inch
three medium ripe tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 package (14-16 oz) lean smoked sausage fully cooked, cut into slices 1 / 2 inch
1 ts cornstarch 1 ts ground ginger
1 ts vinegar
1 ts soy sauce
1 / 2 cup apricot preserves
2 cups chunks of fresh pineapple
Preparation:
Add vegetable oil in 10-inch skillet. Then heat it on medium heat. Cook and stir for 5 to 10 minutes sliced sausage, green pepper, onion and tomatoes, until sausage is cooked and the vegetables begin to soften.
MEZCLAR cornstarch, ginger, vinegar, soy sauce and apricot jam, and add to mixture stirring. Stir until mixture bubbles and begins to thicken sauce.
Add 2 cups drained pineapple chunks. Then reduce the heat to low and stir it until the pineapple is cooked.
You can serve with cooked rice.
