At a young age of 24, you need to take a well-balanced diet so that you remain strong and have enough energy to work hard. Healthy food can improve our health, maintain our weight, flush out toxins and protect us from all types of chronic diseases. It is very important to follow a healthy diet plan everyday. Basically, healthy food includes lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, whole grains, meat, poultry, fish, dairy products and lots of water. Intake of fried foods, cookies, cakes, soft drinks, too much of sugar, white flour etc. can harm the body.
Some of the other healthy foods that you can include in your daily diet are oatmeal, whole-wheat pasta, brown rice, yogurt, eggs, peanuts, chicken, potatoes, skim milk, olive oil, rice bran oil, soya bean oil, beans, blueberries, salmon, spinach, soy products, flax seeds, garlic, onions, turmeric, fennel, cheese, oysters and tuna.
In order to remain healthy, you also need to develop certain good eating habits like start your day with a healthy breakfast, eat small portions of meal at one time, drink lots of water, chew your food nicely,make your food colorful with lots of fruits and vegetables, take different types of proteins, add sources of calcium to your diet and exercise regularly.
