Can you tell me some healthy foods and recipes?


Along with intense exercises, I have been advised to eat healthy food to keep my fitness intact with my health. I am 23 years old and weigh 135lbs at a height of 5feet 9inches, and I try to at least workout twice in a week. I don't think I've got a big deal of weight to reduce, therefore I want to know if there could be some healthy foods and recipes which could compliment my workout regime. I would appreciate if someone can suggest me of some suitable links as well. Thanks!

As you have been advised to eat healthy food, I would like to tell you that now you can go on food network and choose the healthy recipe which you think is best for you. When I was on my healthy diet I also preferred food network and you must believe me that the recipes that you will find there are really delicious and healthy to eat.

You can try the healthy whole wheat pasta with broccoli and feta as it tastes great and is low in saturated fat. Like this you can also try peach cobbler, baked French toast, bitter milk baked chicken and pasta Panza. Some of the healthy foods that you can also go for are peanuts, yogurt, almonds, whole wheat bread, lettuce, carrots, peas, corn, cucumbers, broccoli, low fat soups and many more.

I love leek and potato soup and will like to share its recipe. For this you need 1 tsp olive oil, 1 Small Onion, Chopped450g Leeks, Sliced450g Potatoes, 500ml Semi Skimmed Milk 500ml Water 1 tsp Herb Cubes. First of all fry the onions and leeks in a pan and pour the milk herbs and salt and pepper. Take all the vegetables and blend it. Add it to the above mixture and boil it for 20 minutes.
