By cooking smartly you can cut fat and reduce calorie intake. The healthy cooking techniques are quite simple.

Usually an adult diet should contain about 20 to 30 percent fat. That is an average daily diet of 2000 calories, the fat quantity should not be more than 400 to 600 calories. By switching from frying to roasting you can avoid oil and thus reduce the fat intake in the diet. The microwave ovens ave made the life quite easy and comfortable. If you are cooking more of your food in the microwave then you surely doing a great favor on the health of those who eat it.

More importantly, the most healthy technique is not to eat at all. Try eating more of fruits and vegetables, without cooking. It retains most of the natural vitamins and nutrition the food item contains.

Eating things by boiling is another good healthy cooking technique, which is less fatty as well as with least loss of the natural nutrition.
