Can someone share a Pakistani recipe for the Aloo Methi Tikki?


I want to learn to make some Pakistani dishes as I find the Pakistani cuisines very appealing and delectable. Do you have the Pakistani recipe of the Aloo Methi Tikki? If you know how to make it then, will you please share it with me? I really want to learn to make the Aloo Methi Tikki the Pakistani way? Looking forward.

I am going to tell you Pakistani recipe of the aloo methi tikki. The ingredient are 1 kg Potatoes, boiled and mashed ,1 tsp of Kasoori Methi, 100 gms of Fenugreek leaves, chopped, ½ tsp of dried Fenugreek leaf powder, 50 gms Breadcrumbs, 2 tsps of Cumin, powder, 1½ tsps of Cumin seeds,¼ tsp of Turmeric powder, 100 gms of Onions, chopped, 2 tsp of Chaat Masala powder. The procedure is:

  1. Heat some oil, add cumin seeds, then chopped onions and green chillies. Stir and fry till onions are translucent.
  2. Add some mashed potatoes and then the rest of the ingredients. Mix it well and take off heat. Rest this mixture for an hour.
  3. Shape into round patties of 50 gm of each using the palm of the hand.
  4. Shallow-fry in a hot oil to a golden colour. Pat dry it with kitchen paper to remove excess of oil.
  5. Garnish it with chaat masala powder. Serve it hot.
