How can I play with the frozen margarita mix by replacing the grand marnier or cointreau?

I want to have my regular margarita drink recipe with a different texture. I want to explore it and have it on the rocks, but I want to replace the triple sec, grand marnier or cointreau with a splash of the frozen margarita mix. What do you think about my idea of mixes? Can you show me how to go about the whole thing and achieve what I want to because although I have the idea I don't know how to solidify it in reality?

If you want your margarita drink to be of different texture, then there are ample of option for you to explore when it comes to margarita. The basic margarita drink consists of three ingredients- tequila, cointreau (triple sec) and fresh lime juice. Since, you don't wish to include cointreau or triple sec in your margarita drink, I'll help you out with the options that you can try in place of these liqueurs. You are interested in using a splash of frozen margarita mix in your drink and here is the prefect recipe including the flavors you wish and excluding the ones you don't wish to drink. First of all, whip up a frozen margarita with limeade, tequila and margarita mix. The margarita mix can be of your choice- strawberry, lemon, raspberry and Pina colada or you can pick up a margarita mix in other flavors as well- pineapple, kahlua and vanilla. Now blend your drink with lots of ice and continue doing so until it looks slushy, but do not overdo the ice. Pour the drink into the margarita glasses and serve the frozen margaritas with mango fusion vodka and enjoy a whole new margarita. You can opt for low carb margarita mix if you are a fitness freak. Enjoy the drink!!!
