Hi there, internet is flooded with in-numerous recipes of chicken and it can be confusing for a person to choose the best out of them. I'm going to tell you a recipe that I usually cook for my grandpa, who is very fond of chicken recipes. It is very healthy and tasty recipe and it'll not even take much of your time to get prepared. It is known as Maple mustard baked chicken, since it is baked, its nutritional values are better than those of fried ones. Following are the ingredients you'll require to prepare it:
Dijon mustard (3 tbsp); grade B pure maple syrup (3 tbsp); peanut or canola oil (2 tbsp); finely chopped fresh thyme (1 tbsp); freshly ground pepper (3/4 tsp); 1/2 tsp salt; 4-41/2 pounds bone-in chicken pieces (skin removed) and 1 1/2 cups fresh whole wheat breadcrumbs.
For preparing it, you need to whisk mustard, maple syrup, 1 tbsp oil, thyme, pepper and salt in a large bowl. Add chicken and turn to coat evenly, now cover the chicken and refrigerate for about 2-3 hrs. Next you need to preheat oven at 400°F and set a wire rack on a large baking sheet. Now combine breadcrumbs and 1 tbsp oil together and dredge skinny side of chicken in the breadcrumbs. Lastly, bake until golden brown and serve hot!!!
