Could you tell me recipe of the food town Commercial ?


I’m regular reader of food town magazine. I have been told that last month subscription of food town had best lemon chiffon tart recipe. Unfortunately, I have missed this just because I was not here in the city. I want to know about the lemon chiffon tart recipe. My other question is that you have seen a recipe on food town commercial. I only know pasta and chicken as ingredients. Could you tell me recipe of the food town Commercial? Please share it with me.

The ingredient are 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice,1 teaspoon lemon zest,1/2 teaspoon salt,1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust The direction are Soften gelatin in water 5 minutes.

  1. Beat some yolks and then add 1/2 cup of the sugar, lemon juice and little salt. Cook in the top of a double boiler, just stirring constantly, until of custard consistency. Add little grated lemon zest and then softened gelatin and stir it thoroughly. At last cool it.
  2. When the mixture begins to get thick, In a totally clean bowl, whip some egg whites until stiff, adding remaining 2/4 cup of sugar while whipping. Fold the egg whites into the custard.
  3. Pour filling into pie shell and chill in refrigerator. Serve when firm. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream if desired. Now, your recipe is ready to serve.
