Should I try some recipes for nonalcoholic drinks apt for children in the winters?

Should I try some recipes for nonalcoholic drinks apt for children in the winters? Are such drinks advisable if I remove the alcohol part of the drinks? I try mixing in fruit or frozen fruit to make my food healthy in summers. But now I want to strictly follow some diet or supplementary drinks of any kind that will be really helpful for my children's health in the harsh winters. I am a 32 year old overweight man and don't want my children end up like me. What will you advise to me? Should I give them some slim fast drinks? Which ones will you suggest to me?
