Do you recommend some dishes to take the taste of north india recipes?

I would like to cook for Indian friend, who have met me during my trip to India. He is coming this weekend to visit my home. But, I have no idea what to cook and how to cook. I want some recipes from north india for lunch and dinner. I really like north Indian recipes with less oil and spices. Do you recommend some dishes to take the taste of north india recipes? Kindly don’t share any web address or website name for this. I need the recipes that people make at their home with coriander leaves.
