I want to make a bread but as it takes too much of time I was thinking to replace the all purpose flour with the bread flour to reduce the cooking time. I am not too sure that I should go for this or not. I want to know will there be any change in the taste of the bread if I will replace it with the bread flour? How much time will be reduced in the cooking if I happen to adopt this modification? It will be really helpful if any expert can give their views on this. Thanks in advance.

Hey, I have tried the orange nut bread recipe and it is really amazing and moreover, it is been baked and ready to eat in less time. I’ll let you know the ingredients and the cooking process of the same.

    Orange nut bread recipe

    Ingredients-

    Navel orange-(2 large),

    Sugar-(2 cups),

    Eggs, beaten-(2),

    All purpose flour-(4 cups),

    Baking soda-(2 tablespoons),

    Milk- (2 cups),

    Salt-( 1 teaspoon),

    Chopped nuts- (1 cup).

    Method-

Now firstly, peel orange and place the peel in a small saucepan. Cover the saucepan with water and cook over medium-high heat for at least 4-5 minutes. Drain the same. Then cover peel again with water and cook for 3-4 minutes and drain. Now finely chop peel and set aside. And now take in a bowl, and combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

And combine egg and milk and then stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Now, fold in nuts and orange peel. Pour the batter into 3 greased and floured 5-4/4-in. x 3-in. x 2-in. and now loaf pans. And bake at 350 degrees F for at least 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. And now cool for 10 minutes, and remove from the pan to a wire rack. Tada! it’s ready to eat.
