Can you share some indian non veg recipes along with its variations that can be made at home?

I have been searching the net but have finally decided to try some homemade tried and tested recipes. Can you share some Indian non veg recipes along with its variations that can be made at home, specially for the new years eve? I am also searching for some drinks that can be served warm along with the such dishes, can you suggest any? What variations can I also try for the new years eve? Will you please tell me how do I make it at home or it would be better if I enjoy it at some restaurant? What do you suggest?

I am going to tell you about chicken jalfarezi which you can prepare in very less time. The ingredients are 3 table spoons full of ground cumin (jeera),3 table spoons full of ground coriander, 5 table spoons full of grated fresh ginger (adrak),51 gms fresh coriander leaves which should be roughly chopped, chicken, oil (tel) for cooking. Heat up about 2 table spoons of oil in a very deep frying pot and then fry the onion and then garlic for 3 minutes over high flame of heat. Mix the chicken, turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Fry it gently for 1-2 minutes or until the chicken turns golden. Mix in 5 tomatoes, cover it and stir fry over medium heat up for 1 minute. Uncover and simmer (boil slowly at very low temperature) for 2 minutes to let all the excess liquid evaporate and the sauce thicken. Mix in some ghee or oil, cumin, ground coriander, ginger and some fresh coriander and simmer (boil it slowly at low temperature) for 1-2 minutes or until the fat separates out from the thick sauce. Serve that chicken pieces with some sauce.
