Can you please share with me a simple and plain cheesecake recipe, that can be easily made at home?

I have decided to make a vegetable side dish and a simple and plain cheesecake, for the thanksgiving dinner. What do you think about these two dishes, how can I make it more interesting, any ideas? Do you have any better suggestions to make the dish spellbinding? Can you show me how to make a cheesecake in a short time? Is there any other variation of a cheesecake recipe that you would like to share with me?

Cheesecake is an effete, delectable sweet dish. Smooth and with a lot of cream, it is the perfect and most elegant way to end a meal. It's no wonder people have been perfecting the cheesecake recipe since early Roman times. Here is a recipe for plain cheese cake which you can try in your kitchen.

Cooking Time : 1 hour

Ingredients

Crust Ingredients

1 cup bread crumbs

¼ cup sugar

¼ cup margarine/butter

Cheese Filling

250g cream cheese

2 eggs

1 teaspoon of baking powder

¼ cup of milk

1 cup of icing sugar (confectioners' sugar) or less

Process

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degree Celsius.

2. To make the crust melt the butter and put it over the bread crumbs along with sugar. Mix them all together. Roll the mixture flat with the help of a roller. Take 8 inch baking tin and grease it with butter. Press down the crust mixture and even it out.

3. To bake the crust put the preparation in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.

4. Take cream cheese in a bowl and add sugar to it and whisk well. Break and stir the eggs one by one in the mixture. Add milk and baking powder to the mixture and mix it thoroughly.

5. Pour the mixture over the prepared crust and even it out by giving it a little shake.

6. Place the tin in the center of the oven and bake the cheesecake for 60 minutes at 175ºC (or 350°F).

7. Remove from the oven and chill

Take the cheesecake out of the oven and leave it to cool down gently (see tips below). Then put it in the fridge keeping it in its baking tin and let it chill overnight.

8. Serve
