How to start with raw foods diet?


Recently my friend has advised me to go for raw food diet, as it helps in reducing weight, and maintaining it for a long time. I want to know what all are comprised in raw food diet, as I am a non-vegetarian person. I would also like to know about its other benefits, and most importantly, how can I begin with it! As I have mentioned that I love non-vegetarian stuff, I want to know how easily can I turn to raw food diet! Can somebody please advise me of the way to do it at the earliest? Thanks!

Uncooked, unprocessed plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, sprouted grains and nuts make up the diet of a person who follow the diet of raw food.

The Raw Food Diet generally includes:

  1. Beans
  2. Dried fruits
  3. Fresh fruits and vegetables
  4. Freshly made fruit and vegetable juices
  5. Grains
  6. Legumes
  7. Milk from a young coconut
  8. Nuts
  9. Other organic or natural foods which have not been processed
  10. Purified water (not tap)
  11. Seaweeds
  12. Seeds

No doubt, a raw food diet promises the all-round health through loss of weight , enhance greater energy and alleviate acute conditions.Advocates of raw foods say that this diet promote digestion and t absorption of nutrients.A raw food diet also enhance brighter, clearer skin and cleaner digestion . They also claim that a raw food diet helps fight heart disease and cancer.

The more you include raw food in your diet, the better will be your health. Important enzymes in food enhance digestion are best absorbed when food is raw.

As you are a non-vegetarian, the following may also be included in your diet:

Also the Raw Food Diet is a far more economical way for an average man compared to a traditional cooked food, processed food diet.
