Nowcombine all the ingredients other than the ingredients for filling in the bowland set them aside. Keep some for topping and some for crust. For filling, combine the water, sugar and cornstarch and then bring it to boil in asaucepan. Then cook and stir in the apples and vanilla. Now pour this onto thecrumb mixture in the crust. Then fill the crust with the topping of remainingcrumb mixture. And bake for 44 minutes or until the crust gets brown. And thedutch apple pie recipe is ready.
