The Spicy Chilli Cauliflower

Ingredients for making Spicy Chilli Cauliflower

  • Buy organic cauliflower florets. You will need minimum two cups of florets for serving four.
  • White vinegar.
  • Buy white, refined flour for making batter.
  • White corn flour at least 5 tablespoons.
  • A little bit of ajinomoto.
  • You will need spices like coriander, cumin and ginger powder.
  • Soy sauce.
  • Chilli sauce.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • Chopped onions.
  • Black pepper powder.
  • A full capsicum.
  • Chopped or sliced chillies.
  • Red chilli sauce as per taste.
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Finely minced spring onions.
  • 4 cups of oil for frying.

The method of making Spicy Chilli Cauliflower

Wash the cauliflower florets first with clean water and then with boiled water mixed with a pinch of salt. Drain the water from the florets and set it aside. Boil water again and add the cauliflower, salt, vinegar in it. Drain the water again and set it aside. Make a batter by mixing all the spices and flour together. Take a big bowl and mix the flour, coriander powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and soy sauce. Mix the cauliflower florets with it and coat them with the batter. Fry the florets in heated oil. Next fry the ginger, garlic, diced onions and capsicums in heated oil along with the chillies. When it becomes slightly brownish add the cauliflowers. Add salt, pepper, red chilli sauce and ajinomoto. Fry well and turn off the gas when cooked.
