What wrong am I doing with OXO Food Mill?

Well, I’m looking for some oxo food mill help. I have decided to make tomato sauce using fresh tomatoes. The recipe articulates to utilize fresh tomatoes and slice them into cut large pieces; it’s been told to blanch. The recipe says to blend them to a food mill to eliminate most of the seeds. I’m using it first time and but I ‘m following the directions appropriately. What am I doing wrong with OXO Food Mill? Please tell me the instructions for making other simple OXO Food Mill recipe?
